Picture yourself hunting warthogs from the air, perched in the cockpit of our exquisite Robinson R44—a four-seat light helicopter known for its elegance and prowess, produced by Robinson Helicopter Company since 1992. This aircraft, an evolution from the two-seat Robinson R22, boasts hydraulically assisted flight controls for a seamless and controlled experience.
Upon the helicopter’s arrival, a thorough safety briefing is conducted, ensuring the well-being of all participants. The pilot, prioritizing safety, assesses the possibility of accommodating additional individuals, with a maximum of four (including the pilot and hunter). Armed with a shotgun equipped with 9 balls, hunters have the thrilling opportunity to target Warthogs in expansive open fields and challenging brushy terrains.
After a successful shot, the pilot expertly marks the location, and ground vehicles promptly retrieve the harvested Warthog. The complete hunting package includes ammunition, and additional hunters join the ground crew, facilitating a smooth transition every 20 minutes as the pilot touches down to change hunters.
In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, we prioritize safety and flexibility. If flying conditions are not optimal, rescheduling to another day is seamlessly arranged, ensuring your safety and an optimal hunting experience with Enkulu Safaris.

Prioritizing your safety and that of your entire group, Enkulu Safaris places paramount importance on comprehensive safety measures. Before embarking on your adventure, all participants are required to undergo a thorough safety briefing. This essential session includes signing release forms, verifying hunting licenses, and covering firearm and safety procedures. It not only ensures compliance but also provides an opportunity to meet the team, familiarize yourself with the equipment, and gain insight into the unfolding experience. Participation in this mandatory briefing is fundamental to a secure and enjoyable Enkulu Safaris experience.
Enkulu Safaris: Exclusive Helicopter Hunting and Helicopter Safari Package
Experience the thrill of helicopter hunting with a minimum duration of 3 hours, inclusive of 10 Warthogs. For those seeking more adventure, additional Warthogs beyond the initial 10 can be included at an extra cost of €150 per Warthog. The price per hour for this exhilarating experience is €1750.
For a shared and equally exciting adventure, hunters have the option to divide the hours. Consider joining forces with another hunter, and enjoy 2-3 hunters together for this special hunt.
If you prefer a more relaxed yet captivating safari from the helicopter, our Helicopter Safari is available at a rate of €1000 per hour.
